In the Name Of Jesus Every knee shall bow (1 John 2:29-3:6/Ps. 98/John 1:29-34)
Today we celebrate the Memorial of the most Holy name of Jesus. When Jesus was born a name was given to Him and His name became the means if salvation to all those who believe in Him.
Saint John tells us in gospel that there is no name given us under the face of the earth by which we shall find salvation, except in the name of Jesus.
The name of Jesus is a strong tower and those who run into it are protected John witnessed for Jesus and He was not shamed to point out to others who the lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world.
The name of Jesus is the greatest and we must let it be on our lips daily and if this will be the case, we must stay away from sun and everything that make us fall into sin. The most holy name of Jesus saves, heals, delivers, protects, provides and open doors. We must never take His name for granted or in vain. We must place our trust and hope in His name and His name will speak for us in the most difficult times of our lives.
At the name of Jesus Every knee shall bow. The knee of sickness, sin, frustration, disappointment e.t.c all that we need to do is to continue to place our hope in Him.
When we believe in the name of Jesus we will be able to proclaim Him everywhere and make others to come to know Him. He is the Holy One and His name makes miracle to happen.
The name of Jesus is great and John witnessed for it. We must direct people to encounter Christ and we must trust in Him to deliver us and make us better and stronger. However, for this to happen we must live a holy life and detest sin. We must abide in the Lord and let His will be done in our lives.
Let Us Pray: Lord Jesus, your name is powerful, your name is miraculous. May the power in your name continue to protect me from every evil. Amen.
