Seeking The Lord With All My Heart (JEREMIAH 29:11-14)

The lord's declaration to me this day is that He has a plan for me, a plan to prosper me and not to harm me, a plan to give me hope and a future. This is the reason I have to seek the Lord with all my heart. God is Spirit and it is only those who seek Him with all their heart that will find Him. He listens and answers when we call upon Him and pray to Him, because we seek Him with all our heart.

I seek the Lord, because He is the true source of my happiness and joy.

I seek the Lord, because He thinks and works for my good at all times.

I seek the Lord, because my future is guaranteed and secured with Him.

I seek the Lord, because my help comes from Him and He gives me victory over my troubles and enemies.

I seek the Lord, because He is Truth and does not lie and He keeps His words always.

I seek the Lord, because He is good and He heals all my infirmity both spiritual and physical.

The reasons why I seek the Lord is many and uncountable and if you are sincere to yourself my dear friend you can also try to find out why you seek the Lord. However, God should not be sought only in times of emergency, rather He should be sought everyday, because it is only those who genuinely seek Him with their whole heart that will find Him.

My seeking of the Lord begins very early when I wake up in the morning and continues through the day. When I find Him, He leads me and helps me to conquer the challenges that confront me.

There is no need wasting my time seeking after things and people that will not add value to my life, rather they deprive me of the precious moments I am supposed to enjoy with my loving God. It is time to begin to create the right atmosphere that will enable me to seek and find my God. When I seek the Lord with all my heart, I will find Him in the poor begging along the streets, in the sick lying on their hospital beds, in the inmates in prisons, in the colleagues in the office, in my customer in the market, in the security guard in my house, in the waiter at the restaurant, in the driver who drives me, in my husband, wife, children, neighbours and even strangers whom I have never met before, but above all I will find Him in the poorest of the poor in the society. Just begin to seek the Lord for the right reasons and He will definitely reveal Himself to you.

Let us pray: Lord God, I seek you with faith and sincerity. Reveal yourself to me and help me to share you with the whole world. Amen.
